New Year's Day

Another decade done and another is under way. I managed to shoot the sunrise this morning and I feel lucky to have made it through the decade relatively unscathed and damage free. It was a crazy one for sure. We managed to have a good time in the last ten years and we're looking forward to the next. Yesterday I landed a trick I'd been working on as my last trick of the decade. I was siked because I'm old. The feeling of satisfaction from skateboarding can push you to do better. As an old man who still skates, I think skateboarding reminds you of what you can achieve if you are persistent and resilient. I feel lucky to be able to skate.
