Tricks into the quarter at Ridge
Throwing yourself into the quarter pipe at the Ridge isn't easy. Maybe you have seen photos of it. We had a fun day there in June. Everyone was ripping. Todd and Nick stepped up to the quarter.

Farley's Summer
This is my first blog entry of many so why not start off by writing about my skate camp experience for the summer.the first night there i slept on the top deck of the mega mini ramp and was awoke by a bear snarlin on his way up to the dining hall's dumpster for some midnite munchies. he passed by me not even 15 ft away.after that I was too paranoid to sleep. not because I was afraid or anything just cuz I never seen an animal/beast that big not behind bars..so that was my last nite sleeping outside. I had good times chillin and skatin with Ray Barbee, meeting some of Element's Canadian flow riders(brandon, bobby) and their filmer(jordan) - tiiite crew, gettin footy, no phone, kids gettin hyped on skating, campfires and just enjoying nature and skating all in the same place. more to come. stay tuned to the blog. yaboy. FARLEY.

Sunday Soul
Womack is an early soul pioneer who was a guitarist for many artists before achieving his own fame. In addition to his own songs, Womack is known for writing the Rolling Stones' first hit It's All Over Now and for playing guitar on hits such as Aretha Franklin's Chain of Fools. Here he is with acoustic versions of California Dreaming and Across 110th Street.

Sick park in Maryland
We were faded but rallied to Ocean Pines Skate Park. Most were too far gone to skate but Matt Dove was there ripping it. The park could be the best in Maryland and has sick bowls and transitions. Not to much ledge stuff. The sounds of the surrounding woods and the park's location near the Atlantic Ocean help make this an amazing spot. Well off the beaten path but worth the trip. Contact Dimensions in Ocean City for more info.

Sunday Soul
Parliament Funkadelic classic featuring the late Eddie Hazel on guitar and Bootsy Collins on bass. Hazel may have been one of the greatest guitarists that has ever lived and Bootsy still is one of the greatest players. Dig it or don't.

Jima in Lowcard #35
Jima ('gee-mah') with a big ollie over some stuff in Tokyo. He's shredded all over the world, speaks several languages and is ill in so many ways. Jima is always moving it forward and will never stop. Respect and love.
