Gnarkansaw Road Trip - Part 1

Nick, Dalty, Rabbit and Stubbs head north through Kansas and Nebraska and hit some strange concrete parks along the way. The truth of skateboarding is revealed in road trips and this video is part of that legacy and truthostity! Gnarkansas Episode #3

Arkansas was included in the land acquired in the Louisiana Purchase and is the home to Wal-mart and Nick Gibson. Just today some kid was im-ing me and first he asked me if I was a "real person" and not an operator. After convincing him I was a real person, he wanted to know if I knew Nick Gibson. I said I did and he was psyched. Gnarkansaw Episode #3.

New to the flow program: Ryan Farley

Ryan lives in San Jose and is very chill. Many know him from YMCA Sequoia Lake Skate Camp where he is an instructor. Ryan takes it to the next level and is always down to skate. Don't sleep on Ryan, he'll throw it down. Video/edit by Ricky Flip et al.

Munchies crew rolled out from Tokyo to San Fran to kick it with their homies at Thrasher. Jima was there and got this backside tailslide.

Matt's broken foot

I broke my foot but I'll be back strong. 6 weeks in a cast and then back in the game. I'm bummed on breaking my foot. I wanted to hit everyone up and skate in SoCal before leaving for Northern California. Big ups to So Cal.

Gnarkansaw! - Episode 2

Nick Gibson brings you video from Fort Smith, Arkansas' MLK Skatepark. We went to MLK in 2006 and had a fine time in FS. We hope to get back there in the spring or summer of 2010.

Mark does Smiths in his sleep. Once when we were on tour in Alabama, we were sleeping and we woke up because Mark was sleep-skating and doing Smith grinds. It was ridiculous but he does throw it down nice.

what is there to say about santa cruz!? besides a 9 hour drive there from san diego! i would say that santa cruz was the best skate trip i have ever had! good times, crazy misadventures,a dance party at ucsc,the woods, sleeping in a car in front of the santa cruz park, run in with police, a contest, snapped boards, and a pink girl softball helmet!
 
well besides those things that i mentioned above, there was so much to this trip! it sucks that we didn't captur more of it but being a skater wit  horrible memory i didn't remember i had a camera till we were leaving thus the one group photo! The skaters you see in this picture are my homies and SAN DIEGO'S FINEST! Derm is a gnarly ripper! he hardflipped the city college 12 stair! the next guy is Lil' BERIK OR LIL EAZY whatever you wanna call him this fool is the defintion of butter and style!!!!and lastly brock!!!! WASHINGTON STREET LOC!!!!! brock is the sickest person ever!! but be ready when you kick it with him he'll break your balls and yell some profane words hahaha!!! he will thrash around any park with crazy amounts of speed and style and make transition look so easy!!!
 
This was the crew and i wouldn't of had it any other way !!!! BIG SHOUT OUT TO OUR BOY WILL WHO PUT US UP ONE NIGHT !!! THANKS WILL!!!!! TILL NEXT TIME PEOPLE CANO VISION SIGNING OUT!

Cheap Tricks in EL Centro

Sometimes you just need to get out of town. I went to El Centro to do some work at the shop with plans of returning Sunday night. Today is Wednesday and I'm still here. The past week has consisted solely skateboarding in one form or another, be it skating the ramp in the front yard, manning the skateshop, or drunk dialing the guys at thrasher. Things are good. Skateboarding is, was, and always will be the same.

Hawaiian Vacation

The family vacation is something you might enjoy when you
are no longer a teenager. Until then, you will endure the
up and downs of the family vacation. Nick took some time
off and headed to Maui with his family. Lucky dog.

Hawaii is something special and an excellent place to chill.
The sky, the ocean and all the greenery is dramatic and invigorating. Being there just makes you feel good.

Todd returns...

So where the hell have you been?
Not that too many people would have noticed, but there hasn't been anything new from me in quite some time. On my first skate trip since recovering from a dislocated/fractured ankle, I managed to break my wrist and hand. That injury wouldn't have been too bad If I hadn't then broken the orbital socket in my face. The real downside is that I figured the plastic surgeon could have fixed up the rest of my face while he was in there, but unfortunately, I look exactly like I did before.

down. Maine is beautiful state but it is cold. Anyone who can
skate hard through such cold weather has real love for
skating. Thanks to Mike and all the other skaters ripping
in places with very cold weather.

Wow!!! If you like to camp and skate, this place is probably the most amazing place ever.  I love both and I did not want to leave.  You literally are on the shore of the lake while skating great skate ramps all around it.  The atmosphere of the surrounding trees, being able to swim, canoe, and most important skate, man, what more can you ask for.  I will be there every summer.  Thanks again to Mike Manidis and all the counselors involved.

Hey if you're ever in North Las Vegas and get the urge to skate a VERT ramp, or skate a great indoor skate park that welcomes all shredders just the same, this is the place for you. Area 702 is great core skate shop that has the largest vert ramp at any Indoor Skate Park in Las Vegas. Its is 32 feet wide by 12 feet tall with 2 feet of Vert and a 14 feet of flat bottom. There's also a mini ramp, an all wooden bowl, and 4,000 square feet street course with rails, ledges and grind boxes. Soon to come first ever in Las Vegas A FOAM PIT! The staff is incredably nice and know there stuff. Here are a couple of pics of team rider Jason Thurtle killing it. Look out this kid is comming up. He just got 1 in Bowl contest at King of the Groms stop at Woodward. Sick tuck knee. Check out the Underground Sticker on the helmet. Keep it up Jason.
