Randy Chew Food Review: My Taco

I'm at My Taco in Highland Park, Los Angeles CA. I have been going to this spot for the last 11 years and have watched it grow. It has a great salsa bar and the asada and pastor have amazing flavor. one must try the guac sauce. They also have carne asada fries that are great for those with the munchies. 5 years ago I would give this place a 5 burrito rating but because i have eaten here so much, i am a little O.D.ed on the spot so i give it 4.5 burritos. If you are at the Garvanza skatepark it is a great lunch spot 3 blocks away. Skate Hard.

Here's a video from the Vu Skateshop crew that is all about blunts. In fact every trick is a blunt trick. It's "Puff Puff Pass" and it's straight outta Balmer, Maryland and shot exclusively on the Vu mini ramp. Gary, Carl and the guys throw it down and come up with some crazy tricks as they wait out the winter.

Clair Chang Mag Minute

Clair Chang is one talented dude. He's has true skating, filming, editing and mechanical prowess. He also rides for Harmony Bearings. The Toast guys should start a school devoted to the study of cool stuff.

Downhill Ride

This is pretty crazy. I don't really ride a bike that often but I think all of us who skate can appreciate this. Valparaiso is a coastal city in Chile that has some steep hills.

Crazy Pipe and Pool Skating

We all see lots of street and park skating but this is a whole different deal. This video is Chris Miller and Wrex Cook ripping the Upland Pipe and Pool. The sound alone is crazy and the speed and scale are insane. Props to skaters who rip like this.

Eureka Springs Park

Renaissance man and banker, Geoff shoots great photos and rips it up. I mean he throws it down. He'll shoot a couple pics, put the camera down and then throw down some ill tricks. R. Chew Food Review: Burrito Kingdom

So today's spot is called Burrito Kingdom and is more of a stand then a restaurant. It's located next to a liquor store so you can grab a tall can to go if need be. It's located on the corner of Atlantic and Alhambra Rd. in Alhambra. I used to go here with my friends Ian and Drew at least once a week before or after band practice. Beans and cheeses burritos all around with a large coke. I got mine with extra hot sauce and extra cheese. It sticks to the ribs and is delicious. I rate it 4 out of 5 burritos. Great hangover spot. Must check it if in the area.
